Our Programme

Our Philosophy

At Amity Juniors, we believe that children are active learners and learning should be a two-way process. Teachers act as facilitators in the children’s learning and provide them with an enriching and meaningful environment to flourish. Learning is tied to real-world connections, field trips and projects.

We also believe that parents play a vital role in a child’s learning and development. We encourage parents to be part of our volunteering team for our field trips and some of the classroom activities.

Our Curriculum

There is two parts to our curriculum – core and thematic learning.

  • Core Learning
  • Thematic Learning
  • Why is Play Important?

Under the Core Curriculum, the children learn skills and concepts that are tied to their developmental milestones:

  • Phonics
  • Mathematics
  • Chinese etc.

Food & Nutrition

We believe that eating healthy is extremely important in the development of young children. We also recognise that children should be able to enjoy food and at the same time develop healthy eating habits from a young age.

As part of our ongoing care, we take special note of a wide range of dietary needs and food intolerance or allergies.
